Lack of bodily content and it'southward all very pretentious
At that place are chick flicks and there are chick flicks merely I got to the end of this movie and really couldn't decipher what the purpose of the flick was. However, that's not actually proverb much because that there are many movies out there (nollywood and otherwise) that are utterly senseless however go ahead to become blockbusters (If you read that and thought of any Marvel movie and then you and I can't be friends :P).Even movies that have no purpose, arguably similar a Curiosity moving picture, still create an impact. By impact I mean, when y'all think most the movie y'all can at to the lowest degree call back something from it.
When Dear Happens …Again is the unrelated sequel to the 2014 romantic comedy "When Honey Happens". I say 'unrelated' hither because even though most of the character backstories are maintained, it goes on a different story path and only 3 or 4 of the original cast members are present here –and I believe we switched the male person lead here besides? The story picks upward with Mo who has finally found the correct guy for her and their relationship is simply chugging along on a bed of roses and water-lilies until she gets a big gig.
The gig is with world-renowned playboy Lade Adenuga and her part is the event planner for ane of his concern events property in DC. Our swain on the ane hand is secure in his relationship with Mo but he is surrounded past people who keep inserting dangerous thoughts into his caput and all this leads up to the moment when he does the unimaginable –he reads the comments on Bella Naija. To exist off-white, I guess this isn't every bit bad as reading the comments on Linda Ikeji's blog only information technology ignites enough fire to cause him to doubt his girlfriend.
That and a series of lack of/miscommunication leads him to empty his bank business relationship on a trip to DC to confront his bae.
If this was a soup it wouldn't be very rich in common sense, however, how many people are actually watching this in search of common sense? If at that place's ane thing the movie does right is to create the air of affluence and wealth. It takes a while to warm upwards to the actor who plays Lade Adenuga – the billionaire playboy. In scene i with him portraying this character, he only seems like a lanky boy trying to convince himself that everybody wants him. Withal, as the movie progresses he becomes a bit more believable –either that or the calibre of his cars and house convinces us.
Weruche Opia as Mo, Udoka Oyeka as Tobe, Oreka Godis, Enyinna and all the supporting cast do a off-white enough job of portraying their characters as is but there's actually non much room for the possibility of failure considering how 1 dimensional a majority of the characters in this pic are. Ane of the well-nigh the exciting things bandage wise was the cameo by Chief Obi.
In the cease the flick is interesting to picket in that it tin can be only interpreted equally a conservative version of one of AY'southward "A Trip to…" or "thirty days in…" type deals. However, in the end there's not much that is memorable about this moving-picture show and information technology all the same kinda beats me how they managed to make an entire movie out of such sparse content.
